Intern - IT Service Management Generalist
Hyundai AutoEver America's HQ (Fountain Valley or Costa Mesa, depending on business unit) will be running a 12-week internship program from 06/24/2025 to 09/12/2025. Interns will be expected to work anywhere between 20 - 24 hours a week, not to exceed 30 hours a week.
Job Purpose:
We are looking for an IT Service Mgmt. Generalist Intern to support daily operations and help execute strategic business plans.
This role is responsible for supporting IT service management operations and processes, ensuring alignment with best practices, business needs and meeting the Service Level Agreements. This involves working closely with IT teams, service owners, and stakeholders to improve service delivery, monitor performance, and maintain compliance with established standards.
Essential Functions:
Receive and handle Dealer (customers) Service Desk calls
Serve as Change Access Board understudy
Review enterprise weekly changes to assess risk, impact and approvals
Attend weekly change reviews and assist with any follow-ups needed
Serve as Account Administration understudy
Learn and support Major Incident Mgmt (MIM) process
Act as a point of escalation, ensuring timely resolution and communication
Assist with timely status communications for incidents to the businesses
Manage service requests backlog and identify opportunities for improvement.
Assist in preparing reports, analytics, documentation and administrative tasks.
Basic Requirements:
College Senior or recent graduate
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills be able to identify problems and proactively provide solutions.
Knowledge in using MS Office: Excel (data entry, reporting and analysis), Power Point (presentation), Word (documentation).
Nice-to-have basic IT programming skills with an OO language (Java, C/C++)
Strong communication and documentation skills; attention to detail.

Pay Range - $25.00 to $27.00/hour
